"Dr. Ahmed is wonderful. I have a dentistry phobia, because I had a few unpleasant oral surgeries in the past. As such, I haven't been to the dentist in an embarrassingly long time (many years). People gave Dr. Ahmed really good reviews so I took a chance, nervous as I was, for a cleaning and reevaluation. I was immediately put at ease by her staff, very kind people... her assistant Anna kept reassuring me while she was taking x-rays (I was not a happy camper). I never felt judged, rushed, or like anyone was irritated by how sensitive I was. Dr. Ahmed put a topical anesthetic on my gums prior to the cleaning; this was much appreciated given how long it'd been since my previous cleaning. She was thorough but gentle whenever possible. After the cleaning, Dr. Ahmed gave me a thorough breakdown of the sundry problems with my teeth (remember: I haven't been to the dentist in a while so there were some issues... though not as many as I'd imagined!), but she didn't demonstrate a judgmental attitude. She merely relayed information very clearly. This made me feel as relaxed as I could be about the prospect of all the dental work I have to get done. I'm so glad I found Dr. Ahmed! :-)"

Small backstory: my teeth staged a mutiny in my mouth, and I had to undergo four root canals, three on the same tooth (a healing issue)...fun way to start 2016, huh? I was also told by another General Dentist that I would need a $700 mouthguard to stop grinding my teeth in my sleep. I had been clenching from stress from my rouge teeth but never had a history of grinding. When I went to Dr. Ahmed, she noticed some grooves that seemed to be consistent on the backs of my front teeth and took time to actually investigate what was happening to my entire mouth (in addition to my problem tooth and sorted out all the other contributing issues.) She took time to explain my dental plan and preventative care, and did not push for any costly "solutions" unlike my previous dentist. Turns out I do not grind my teeth, at all... I just needed surface bonding. If you are a person with any dental fears or just need a great, reliable dentist, then I highly recommend Dr. Ahmed!!"

Nazia Ahmed is a pleasure to work with. She is very clearly highly educated in dental care, but has a grounded bedside manner that is very energetic and pleasant. I felt like I was in very good hands and trusted her advice implicitly. My gums were horribly infected, she cleaned them up and offered a solid plan on how to move forward to a healthy mouth. I'd recommend her to anyone looking for a fabulous dentist who's intentions are good.

I've been seeing Dr. Ahmed for 4 years now! She is extremely thorough, giving a high level of attention and gives advice specifically for me. Dr. Ahmed was very thorough, efficient, caring, and explained the procedures and what was going on in my mouth very well. She also didn't chastise me for neglecting to go to the dentist for so long, she just told me what happens when you don't get regular cleanings (which explained some of my discomfort). Would definitely recommend.
